Reasons to be spontaneous!
It's proven to be good for our mental health, and who knows where it might lead
Do you mark events on your calendar weeks ahead of time? Dislike unannounced pop-ins? And believe a colour-coordinated schedule is the only way to a stress-free life? Yep, this is definitely me. And there’s no denying that having a routine can be incredibly grounding. To have a regular laundry day to big-shop day, after school activity day, and long walk day; it can frame each week and ensure that everything gets done. Think lists, paper diaries, commitment, focus, all good. But it can also be incredibly empowering to consciously break from the norm and do something different. When we choose change, we create an opportunity to grow, rather than just get everything done for another week.
