Powder Pink
1 Number one on the soothing charts. Powder pink is a wonderful shade — think rose quartz with a smudge of grey — and less overtly feminine than baby pink, which means it works for the men in our lives too. Great for bedrooms to bathrooms, it's tremendously adaptable, sitting well with wood, metallics, stone, neutrals to black and white monochromes.
It’s an especially good choice for bedrooms though because it prompts calm and restfulness. Team it with white, dove grey and terracotta for the ultimate cool sleep palette (see below), keeping it interesting with layered bedsheets and eiderdowns.
